Heavy Psych · Space Rock · Krautrock
When the australian psych rock band Seedy Jeezus was touring Europe in 2018, guitarist Lex Waterreus spent a few days with Komet Lulu and Sula Bassana after the final concert. Back then, they were still together in Electric Moon. What better reason to record music together? Three long jam sessions were created, Sula Bassana mixed and edited the material and then years passed.
At the end of 2023, Lex visited Sula again after another Seedy Jeezus European tour. Together they added a few sparse overdubs and finished the album. The result is three tracks called earth, sun, and moon, which together last over 45 minutes and show how naturally these three musicians listen to one another. Komet Lulu on fuzz bass, Lex Waterreus on guitars, synth box and vocals, Sula Bassana on drums, organ and mellotron. Mastered by Eroc, cover by Masiha Fattahi.
Music for anyone who likes heavy psych REALLY heavy, cosmic and with real space in between.
