Interkosmos are an intergalactic psychedelic space jam trio, founded in Austria in 2008 by Sula Bassana together with Spanish guitarist Sergio Ceballos and drummer Pablo Carneval. All three musicians are deeply rooted in the Sulatron universe. Sula Bassana is the label founder, Pablo Carneval also plays in Electric Moon and Zone Six and all three have worked together in various constellations across the entire label catalogue.

Sergio Ceballos is also firmly established in the Spanish scene. He plays in Mohama Saz, Esperanto and was previously active in Melange and RIP KC, bands that have found recognition well beyond the underground.

Their music draws on the abstract, Stockhausen influenced passages of early Pink Floyd and the cosmic openness of Ash Ra Tempel, filtered through entirely improvised sessions with no fixed structures. Floating, gliding and undulating, the music unfolds and dissolves organically, led by Sergio Ceballos’ distinctive space guitar playing and Sula Bassana’s well placed bass and synthesizer contributions.

Music for drifting detached and unhurried through the cosmos.
