Zone Six

2007 – heute

Krautrock · Space Rock · Improvisation

Zone Six were founded in 1997 by Sula Bassana in a single night in Berlin, originally just to fulfill a short-notice concert request. What emerged from that night became their debut album and the beginning of one of the longest-running jam bands in the European psychedelic underground.

For over 25 years, Zone Six have counted among the first and most consistent bands of the Krautrock revival. Always on the change. The lineup has shifted constantly. Musicians from Electric Moon, Interkosmos, Krautzone, The Pancakes and beyond have come and gone, while Sula Bassana remains the constant creative core. The music is completely improvised, built from trance-like motorik grooves, fuzz-drenched guitars, cosmic synthesizers and a collective instinct for when to push forward and when to breathe.

Zone Six perform rarel livey, which makes every concert a true happening. The current lineup consists of Sula Bassana on bass and synthesizers, Pablo Carneval on drums and Manuel Wohlrab on guitar.

Music for losing track of time, surrendering to the groove and drifting somewhere between here and outer space.
