Skyjoggers

🇫🇮

2024 – 2024

Space Rock · Psychedelic Rock · Progressive Rock

Skyjoggers are a power trio from Tampere, Finland. Alexi Belle (guitar, effects), Juan Rico (bass, synthesizer, vocals) and Gabo Sabor (drums, vocals). Founded with the goal of turning space rock and psychedelia into a vibrant, riff-driven live experience, they describe themselves as "born in the future and shaped by the past." As living beings who musically represent the experience of traveling through time and space.

Since their debut album Journeymen (2018), Skyjoggers have built a loyal European following, released three more albums and established themselves as one of the most intense and reliable live acts in the Scandinavian psych-rock underground. Their sound combines hypnotic riffs with psychedelic sound textures and a progressive openness that makes every concert sound a little different. Threatening and demanding at the same time.

In 2024, the Split-LP with Sula Bassana was released on Sulatron Records. Three live tracks from Skyjoggers and two live tracks from Sula Bassana, all recorded at the Dazed & Spaced Festival at Bar 227 in Hamburg (which sadly no longer exists) in April 2024. It was the 100th concert for Skyjoggers as a band. A moment worthy of remembrance, which we have captured on vinyl.

Music for anyone who likes their space rock raw, riff-heavy and with a sense of cosmic vastness.
