Dreamer (22nd Anniversary Edition)

22 years on the groove and wonderfully matured like a rare wine. Dreamer, Sula Bassana's debut album, saw the light of day on vinyl in 2002 on Nasoni Records. In 2012, an anniversary edition followed, newly remastered by Eroc with new artwork by Komet Lulu. And now, in 2024, comes the 22 Years Anniversary Edition: on 180g randomly colored recycled vinyl, limited to 300 copies, with the legendary original cover artwork by the Italian design collective Malleus, founded by, among others, two Ufomammut members.

What started in 2002 as a one-man solo project (Sula Bassana played all guitars, basses, synthesizers, mellotron, organ, sitar, drums, flutes himself) is today a cult piece of the European psych scene. My Blue Guitar, the Pink Floyd homage, still touches. The expansive Ananda and the Floyd cover Baby Blue Shuffle In D Major find their place between meditative expanse and guitar-driven intensity.
