Liquid Visions

🇩🇪

2018 – 2018

Psychedelic Rock · Space Rock · Garage Rock

Liquid Visions were founded in Berlin at new year's eve 1994/95 and anyone who knows the history of Sulatron Records knows that this is where it all began. When forming the band, Sula Bassana met Hans-Peter Ringholz, with whom he would go on to start Zone Six shortly thereafter. Claus Bühler on drums, who also played in Zone Six later on, was involved for a short time. Guitarist Kiryk Drewinski and theremin player Katja Wolff, who contributed to the band's visual identity with her blacklight-illuminated theremin performance, completed the lineup during its most productive phase.

Liquid Visions combined garage fuzz rock with extended psychedelic excursions and a light show concept that set their live performances apart from other bands. Between 1998 and 2004, several albums were released on Nasoni Records. We decided to re-release Hypnotized (2002) for the first time on green 180 gram vinyl in 2018, limited to 500 copies, featuring new artwork by Kiryk Drewinski. After The Lost Recordings, studio recordings from the year 2000 with long instrumental passages were released on CD.

Liquid Visions are the origin of a network that extends to the present day through Electric Moon, Zone Six, Interkosmos and Sulatron Records.
