Die Trilogie

Edition: 500
Eight years of work, three albums, one band: Seven That Spells from Zagreb recorded one of the most ambitious trilogies in the modern psych and spacerock scene between 2011 and 2018: The Death And Resurrection Of Krautrock. To mark the completion of the trilogy, AUM (2011), IO (2014) and OMEGA (2018) are being released together for the first time in a 3 CD box set, and as a crowning conclusion, the band played all three parts live back-to-back on April 12, 2019, at the Roadburn Festival Tilburg.
AUM, the first part, with its two epics over nineteen minutes long (Aum and Zero), is still significantly more powerful, while IO represents the middle and most experimental part. The concluding OMEGA links both worlds to create the band's most accessible and densest work to date. A conclusion that, as several critics noted, brings to mind Mogwai plus Led Zeppelin plus Motorpsycho plus Hawkwind.
Three CDs, over two hours of music, a box set is the ideal entry point for anyone not yet familiar with the world of Seven That Spells, and the perfect summary for all who have long loved them.
