Sabotage

On September 20, 2019, Electric Moon and the Portuguese duo Talea Jacta performed together at the cult club Sabotage in Lisbon. The club no longer exists, as it did not survive the pandemic. The concert, however, did, captured as a stereo soundboard recording, and released two years later as Sabotar: a monument to an evening, a place, and a type of music that was unique in that moment.
Five musicians, two guitars, two drum kits, one bass: Sula Bassana and Pedro Pestana (guitar and effects), Komet Lulu (bass), Pablo Carneval and João Pais Filipe (drums and percussion) together as one band, without rehearsal, without a setlist. João, known for his handmade gongs and percussions, brings a tribal energy, shaped by Portuguese musical tradition, which opens up new spaces for the typical Electric Moon sound. Three parts, one continuous idea: cosmic effect orgies, guitar freakouts, double drums and an atmosphere that is literally out of this world.
Mastered by Eroc, cover by Komet Lulu: Sabotar is a true jewel of the psychedelic underground – raw, immediate, and in its nature, unreproducible.
Also available as an LP on 180 gram black vinyl made in Germany and limited to 500 copies!
