Live At Roadburn Festival 2014

On April 11, 2014, Sula Bassana, together with Komet Lulu, Rainer Neeff and Marcus Schnitzler, performed at the cult festival Roadburn in Tilburg.

Four pieces, almost 50 minutes of playing time. The thirteen-minute opener Rainstorm immediately shows what this line-up is capable of, before D-Light follows with a driving groove. The set reaches its climax with the over eighteen-minute Dark Days. A state of emergency between fuzz guitars, Mellotron pads and hypnotic drive, which can best be described as purely instrumental Hawkwind.

Those who appreciate bands like Electric Moon, Sun Dial or Seven That Spells will immediately find what they are looking for here. This album proves that Sula Bassana is one of the most impressive live acts in the European space rock scene, even outside the studio.
