Like Drones in Honey

Farflung from Los Angeles has been around since 1994, and their tenth album proves that after almost 30 years, the band is still among the most exciting that international space rock has to offer. Like Drones In Honey is the first Farflung release on Sulatron Records, and it's a perfect fit: eight tracks full of Hawkwind DNA, Zappa humor, psychedelic drones, and Kraut drive. Wild, unpredictable, and yet always captivating.
Acid Drain opens with growls, film samples, and psychedelic fuzz, immediately making it clear what's to come: a band that defies categorization and shows no mercy. Earthmen Look Alike To Me is cosmic groove with an almost dancing lightness; King Fright and Tiny Cities Made Of Broken Teeth show their harder, alienated side; Touch Of The Lemmings Kiss and A Year In Japan reveal the surreal-experimental. Tommy Grenas, also known from Nik Turner's Space Ritual, The Brain, and Chrome, is a frontman who can do it all: whisper, scream, sing, rant.
The band collective led by Tommy Grenas and Michael Esther consistently makes music for those who want to hear Hawkwind and Zappa in the same sentence.
Also available as an LP on 180-gram white vinyl made in Germany and limited to 500 copies, including a download code!
