Farflung from Los Angeles has been around since 1994, and their tenth album proves that after almost 30 years, the band is still among the most exciting that international space rock has to offer. Like Drones In Honey is the first Farflung release on Sulatron Records, and it's a perfect fit: eight tracks full of Hawkwind DNA, Zappa humor, psychedelic drones, and Kraut drive. Acid Drain opens with growls, film samples, and psychedelic fuzz, immediately making it clear what's to come: a band that defies categorization and shows no mercy.
