Inferno

Inferno is still the longest official track Electric Moon has ever released, and also one of their most intense. Originally released in 2011 in a small CD-R edition and becoming a secret fan favorite through hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube, the album was officially released for the first time in 2012 on Sulatron Records.

After the good fourteen-minute opener Mental Record, the title track Inferno follows with a journey of over fifty minutes that constantly changes: sometimes funky and rhythmic, sometimes in driving space rock eruptions, sometimes in slow, fuzz-drenched guitar soundscapes that only calm down in the last few minutes. Sula Bassana on guitar, Komet Lulu on bass, and Alex on drums never lose their connection to each other, even as each finds their own way through the piece.

Inferno is the pure, undiluted essence of Electric Moon: uncompromisingly long, uncompromisingly intense, and to this day one of the band's most formative documents.
