Hugodelia

Hugodelia is more than just another live album by Electric Moon. It is a farewell document. Recorded at promoter Graf Hugo's last concert in Feldkirch, Austria, the album captures one of those rare moments where you can also feel the human sentiment behind Electric Moon's music. A sad night but one filled with good friends and genuine affection.
The twenty-minute opener Hugodelia initially works its way forward before the band takes off to the cosmos. Transmitter continues with dreamlike, floating moments that build up to Hawkwind- and Motorik-like surges, Cellar Grime is a sour jam of the heavy kind and Cellar Slime its peaceful counterpart. The bonus track Ween, recorded in Vienna in the same year, closes the album with a hypnotic build-up that, after seven minutes, erupts into a stratospheric burst of energy and then slowly takes you away again at the end.
Guest Erich Coldino played a second guitar through the same amplifier on the last two tracks of the concert.
