Flaming Lake

Recorded on July 2, 2011, as a pure live recording without overdubs, Flaming Lake documents one of Electric Moon's most intense performances. With Sula Bassana on guitar, Komet Lulu on fuzz bass, and rotating drummers, four extended pieces are created, oscillating between driving Krautrock grooves and sprawling, almost trance-like guitar soundscapes.

The opener Cosmic Creator sets the tone before the good sixteen-minute title track Flaming Lake reaches its climax with dense fuzz walls and a hypnotic drive. With Lost And Found Souls and the almost nineteen-minute Burning Battenberg, recorded with Philipp Wolf on drums, the set concludes in epic fashion.

This reissue makes one of the band's most intense live documents accessible again. Pure, unadulterated psychedelic energy without compromise.
