Align In The Fourth Dimension

Craig Williamson from Hamilton, New Zealand, has been a fixture in the international psych scene for years. As the mastermind behind Lamp Of The Universe, as a member of Arc Of Ascent, and as the former bassist and vocalist for Datura. After years of friendly connection with Sula Bassana, he released his first Lamp Of The Universe album on Sulatron Records in 2018.

The album's title, Align In The Fourth Dimension, points to an alignment beyond the ordinary, combining ethereal folk aesthetics, expansive space vibes, and '60s acid-blues on seven tracks (eight with the bonus track on CD). Craig plays all instruments himself: guitars, bass, drums, organ, synthesizer, mellotron, and sitar. Visitors opens quietly and contemplatively, Rite Of The Spheres and Light Receiver deepen the meditative flow, before The Leaving and the extended Absolution Through Your Third Eye form the spiritual core of the album. Call From Beyond is the exclusive bonus track on the CD, quietly completing the journey before the concluding Seasons Of Love fades out the album in a warm light.
