Psychedelic Rock · Krautrock · Drone · Fuzz Rock
Dim Electrics is the occasional solo project of an Englishman living in Vienna. Founded in 2014 out of a desire to finally give sonic expression to a long-held passion for psychedelic guitar music. All instruments are recorded by himself, everything is created solo with no grand concept other than the sound itself.
The influences are clearly stated and audible: Hawkwind, early Barrett-era Pink Floyd, Spacemen 3, Suicide, Neu! and Can. An exquisite pantheon of the psychedelic and cosmic underground that sounds not imitated but internalized on the self-titled debut album.
Music for those who prefer quiet and personal psych.
