Psychedelic Folk · Space Rock · Experimental
Annot Rhüül is not a band in the classic sense but rather the solo project of Norwegian multi-instrumentalist Sigurd Lühr Tonna founded in 1998 in Trondheim. Sigurd writes, arranges and records the majority of the music himself (guitars, keyboards, effects, and bass) and is accompanied in the studio by a changing circle of creative friends and companions from the Trondheim underground scene.
His music inhabits a quiet, extraordinary space between psychedelic folk, space rock and atmospheric experimentalism. Unhurried, dreamlike and deeply personal. Mellotrons, layered guitars, synthesizers, and occasional female vocals weave together into soundscapes that feel simultaneously rooted in the Norwegian landscape and completely weightless.
The debut album on Sulatron Records was created together with members of Seid as well as a broad circle of Norwegian musicians.
Music for quiet evenings, open skies and the space between waking and dreaming.
