With Uran, Sulatron Records released one of the most unusual albums in the label's history in 2009. It's never just about the next run-of-the-mill Krautrock record, but about music that truly surprises. Uran from Gothenburg captivated us from the first moment with their raw, uncompromising sound.

Throughout the album, the influences of Kraftwerk and Neu! merge with the anarchic energy of the Sex Pistols. The result is a kind of Krautrock that has been put through the meat grinder of punk and industrial. Edgy, geometric, and with a comic-like menace that evokes dystopian future visions.

Uran offers its listeners few breathing spaces before the next electronic shockwave hits. Individual tracks briefly reveal their Krautrock roots, without the band losing its driving, almost nihilistic energy.
