Hypnotizer

With Hypnotizer, Sulatron Records brings Interkosmos' intergalactic debut album back into its program in 2016. Originally created in 2008, it has now been re-mastered by Eroc, featuring new artwork by Lulu Artwork and an additional live bonus track. Sergio Ceballos from Spain on guitar, Pablo Carneval from Austria on drums and Sula Bassana on bass.
Across six extended studio tracks, a relaxed, almost weightless spacerock unfolds, strongly reminiscent of the more abstract passages from Pink Floyd's Interstellar Overdrive and A Saucerful Of Secrets. While Lift Off and Hypnotizer open with hypnotic bass and drum play and unreal-sounding guitars, Edentrip delves deep into abstract, almost industrial soundscapes, before Kosmos Amigos with its Spanish-tinged chord progression and Floatboat with multi-track guitar lines in the style of Manuel Göttsching continue the set.
As a bonus, the over eleven-minute Samphonic Trip offers a live recording with a different lineup. From ghostly vocal samples to full freak-out. Hypnotizer is a reunion with one of the underrated treasures in the Sulatron catalog.
