What emerges is not an album that can be clearly categorized: trippy synths, tribal percussion, drone guitars, theremin, and floating vocals combine to create a soundscape that could just as easily come from the early seventies as from 2001 – or from the future.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 8.0pt;\"\u003eChrysalis and Bliss draw the listener in with pulsating grooves and organic sound textures. Still Life and A Trick Of The Light showcase the more meditative, psych-folk side. Menadel opens the B-side with trip-hop beats and futuristic synths, Organo and Borealis deepen the cosmic-cinematic mood, before the title track \u003cem\u003eThe Glitter Odd\u003c\/em\u003e concludes the album with a strange, electronically colored experiment.
