Musically, the album moves between early Pink Floyd, King Crimson, and Hawkwind, and at times is reminiscent of Sun Dial's debut album \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOther Way Out\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, which is considered a milestone by many fans.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe last studio album \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003e\u003cspan\u003eScience Fiction\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, released in 2018 by Sulatron Records on CD and LP, was significantly more electronic, strongly oriented towards Krautrock sounds, and even completely instrumental. With \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003e\u003cspan\u003eMessages From The Mothership\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, the band now returns to the sound for which they have been appreciated for decades: guitar-dominated psychedelic rock with slightly distorted and modulated vocals. Hammond and Vox organs, Mellotron, and synthesizers add additional accents without pushing the characteristic guitar sound into the background. In contrast to \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003e\u003cspan\u003eScience Fiction\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e or Gary Ramon's side project Quad, which is entirely dedicated to cosmic-electronic sound research, the rock band is once again at the forefront here.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe A-side of the LP gathers compact songs, each of which has the potential to be a standalone 7\" single. The B-side, on the other hand, features longer, psychedelic-progressive compositions.
